Bachelor Nation's Victoria Fuller is 'really happy' with new beau Chris Soules

Victoria Fuller says she and Chris Soules are 'really happy' together.

'The last few months have been really special for us,' the 26-year-old beauty, who competed on The Bachelor's 24th season, told People.

The Virginia Beach native added of her romance with Soules, who starred on the show's 19th season five years ago: 'We're enjoying each other!'

Fuller, who previously was linked to country singer Chase Rice, met Soules through Bachelor peer Kelsey Weier, who is from Iowa like Soules is.

'She was like, "I think he's single and he's very attractive, you should talk to him,"' Fuller said of Weier's romantic advice to her.

Fuller said that the pair began exchanging texts back on March and 'connected,' refuting a rumor that Soules had reached out to her via DM.

'Some people said he slid into my DMs, but he literally owns an iPhone 2 and can barely send out a text!' she said. 'But if he had, I would have responded.'

Fuller told the outlet that they 'were both really nervous' when they initially met in person in April in Arlington, Iowa, where Soules resides, 'but it wasn't awkward' after all.

'It felt really natural,' she said. 'And immediately, I was like, "I really like him!" I felt a genuine connection.

'And Iowa is so quiet - we were able to just focus on each other and enjoy each other's company.'

Fuller said that they're 'learning and we're growing and we're figuring each other out,' and have not sought to move past their ongoing long distance relationship.

'We don't really have a system,' she said, 'but the amazing thing about him is that he never puts pressure on our relationship or wants to put a timeline on it.'

She said that the fact the both are from Bachelor Nation helped bring them together.

'It's nice to be able to share that commonality,' Fuller said. 'But Chris got to know me for me, not for what he saw on the show. And I'm grateful the way things ended on the show - it worked out!'
