Prince Harry's ex Cressida Bonas dons bridal dress





She was widely expected to marry Prince Harry until their break-up in 2014.



And Cressida Bonas was showing her ex what he was missing in newly-released teaser images for James Arthur's music video for Naked - which come just as the royal announced his engagement to Suits actress Meghan Markle.



The dancer and actress, 28, donned a bridal inspired lace dress with a beautiful tiered skirt for the romantic shoot.



Cressida is seen cosying up to dapper James in the stills, oddly recreating the very same pose Harry and Meghan had taken during their official engagement announcement.



She puts on a tactile display with the chart-topper, holding hands as they gazed lovingly into each other's eyes.



The socialite was a vision in her elegant dress, set off with glittering heels and her blonde bob styled in loose waves.



James performed Naked Saturday night on The X Factor and it is currently No.2 on the iTunes chart.



The video for the singer's new tune premieres later this week.



The song is an emotional ballad about trying to win back your ex and giving a relationship a second chance.



On Monday night, Cressida  proved her heartache was behind her as she partied with socialites in London amid the Prince's engagement news.



The star kept a low profile as she stepped out in the capital in an ultra-stylish navy suede coat belted over a simple slip dress. 



Cressida seemed to be in good spirits as she flashed a relaxed smile during the outing.



Letting her statement coat do all the talking, the society girl completed her decadent look with some gold barely there heels.



The Tulip Fever actress swept her golden locks into polished waves and boasted a deep glowing tan.



The British beauty is yet to comment on the news that Harry will marry Meghan next spring, after a year and a half of dating.



As Prince Harry's most recent serious ex, Cressida was the woman presumed to become Harry's wife.



However, in 2014, the pair split and the thespian chose to remain dignified about why exactly the pair parted ways.



The months leading up to her split from Harry saw rumours hit fever pitch that the pair would imminently announce plans to marry.



With a wedding thought to be on the way, the Duchess of Cambridge was even said to be helping shy Cressie learn how to handle to the intensity of the Royal spotlight.



But the actress later dismissed all that as mere 'noise', explaining in an interview: 'All that stuff is not real. It's really important to remember that all it is noise, noise that can be very loud at times.'





Cressida certainly had all the makings of a princess; she is friends with both Princess Beatrice and Eugenie, joining the former in the world record attempt to complete the London Marathon in a human caterpillar in 2010, while the latter is said to have introduced her to Harry.



She is the daughter of renowned Sixties It girl Lady Mary Gaye Curzon (whose father was the 6th Earl Howe) and Old Harrovian Jeffrey Bonas (her mother's third husband) owns a fabric company called MacCulloch & Wallis.



Her parents have racked up six marriages between them so Cressida has a number of half brothers and sisters including soon-to-be a Branson, Isabella, who was once admired by Prince William, and Gabriella Wilde, a model for Burberry.





Following her parent's separation, Cressida continued to enjoy a privileged upbringing as her bohemian mother then married multi-millionaire Christopher Shaw.



Cressida attended £30,000-a-year Stowe School in Buckingham where she showed a flair for acting as well as sport. 



Now, after studying drama and dance, she bagged herself a role in Tulip Fever, alongside Judi Dench, and supermodel-turned-actress Cara Delevingne, and has taken the fashion world by storm





Cressida's outing comes after Prince Harry said on Monday he is 'thrilled' to be marrying Meghan and admitted he knew the Suits star was 'the one' from 'the first day we met'.



Meghan, 36, also showed the world her engagement ring designed by Harry himself containing two diamonds from Princess Diana's own personal collection set in a gold band. 



The couple will marry in church in spring 2018 after the prince proposed in early November after getting permission from the Queen and Meghan's parents.



Harry looked nervous but happy as they made their first public appearance since the announcement in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace, much loved by his late mother Princess Diana.





His fiancee stroked his arm lovingly as they spoke to reporters, who asked him: 'When did you know she was the one?' and he replied: 'From the very first time we met'.



He refused to say how he proposed saying: 'That will come later' but when asked if it was romantic he said: 'Of course it was' - but the couple didn't kiss for the cameras.
