Queen Letizia looked stunning in a midnight blue floor-length frock as she joined King Felipe today in Madrid.



Letizia, 46, wore the dress with white polka dots to welcome representatives of the Spanish National Committee of People with Disabilities (CERMI) to Zarzuela Palace.



Her stylish dress had detail on the arms and a v neckline, while it also had a bandeau style waistband.



The Queen was joined by her husband King Felipe VI of Spain - who was suitably dressed in a dark pinstriped suit and colorful tie.



The royal couple introduced themselves to each member at the palace, shaking hands and having a conversation with each one.



They later posed for a picture with them to celebrate the meeting in Madrid.



CERMI is a body of representatives and a platform for proposals to draft and implement comprehensive policies in favour of people with disabilities and their families.



As well as Letizia's flowing dress she accessorised her look with matching blue stilettos and her hair worn down, with a slight wave.



Both Letizia and King Felipe VI looked in good spirits as they spent the morning with the representatives.



Just last week Queen Letizia of Spain and her daughter Princess Leonor were pictured visited retired King Juan Carlos today in hospital as he recovered from triple bypass heart surgery.



Queen Letizia, daughter-in-law of retired King Juan Carlos, and his granddaughter Princess Leonor spoke to press after visiting the retired King and told how he was in good spirits and was very talkative.



 Queen Letizia wore tailored white trousers with a smart dark blazer while her daughter opted for jeans and a casual spotted top.
