ADELE HINTS THAT SHE WILL NO LONGER GO ON TOUR



She was one of the first stars to head down to the site of Grenfell Tower following the horrific blaze earlier this month.

And Adele proved it was a still a cause close to her heart as she urged her fans to continue to donate to the victims as she took to the stage at London's Wembley Stadium on Wednesday.

Clad in a glamorous purple gown, the 29-year-old was overcome with emotion as she took to the stage, and in a night of outbursts, also hinted this could be her last ever tour.



Taking to the stage, the mother-of-one told the audience: 'Usually I ask everyone to get their phone out and put their lights on. But before I do that I want you to donate



Did anyone are the video before I came on? I've been down to Grenfell tower.'

She added: 'I'm going straight back Monday after my shows. A lot of the stories aren't mine to tell especially on a stage like this. Today is two weeks since it happened and they are being neglected now.



'I promise any money that we raise will get to them. I am not leaving them.

'I'm involved now. I'll be banging on for this for days, weeks, months and years. I want everyone to donate. I know a lot of people have paid a lot of money to be here.

'If you don't want to do it I want you to promise that you will talk about it and tell people because they are being forgotten.



She continued: 'I didn't have a social conscience that long ago. You can grow one. I grew one. It comes with age.

'It's cheaper to donate than get s**t faced. I promise i will get the money directly in that tower.'

Adele also dedicated her hit song Make Me Feel Your Love to her 'new friend' Abraham who was one of the first responders that she had invited along to the show



The official death toll of the Grenfell Tower fire currently stands at 80, after a fridge fire broke out on the lower floors of the west London high rise earlier this month.

Also at the show, Adele hinted that this would be her final tour. She is set to play three more dates at Wembley, marking the conclusion of her first world tour, which has seen her play to more than two million people across Europe, America, Australia and New Zealand.

In a handwritten note that appeared in her show programme, she penned:  'So this is it after 15 months on the road and 18 months of 25 we are at the end.



'Touring is a peculiar thing, it doesn’t suit me particularly well. I’m a real homebody and I get so much joy in the small things.

'Plus, I’m dramatic and have a terrible history of touring. Until now that is!

'I’ve done 119 shows and these last four will take me up to 123, it has been hard but an absolute thrill and pleasure.

'I only ever did this tour for you and to hopefully have an impact on you the way that some of my favourite artists have had on me live.



And I wanted my final shows to be in London because I don’t know if I’ll ever tour again and so I want my last time to be at home.'

Speaking on stage, the Grammy-winning artist revealed she would continue to make music as she vowed: 'I will always write music and I will always put it out. And I hope that you’re always here.

'I might never see you again at a live show. Who knows. But I will remember this for the rest of my life.'
