THE DOCTOR IS IN THE HOUSE! HOT PAKISTANI DOCTOR NEEDS ROOM IN NEW YORK...
HOT PAKISTANI DOCTOR NEEDS ROOM IN NEW YORK AND GAINS FANS
Potential housemates are losing their minds over a 26-year-old med school grad from Pakistan who also happens to be a male model.
Rehan Munir told the Huffington Post that he hopes to do rotations in various hospitals across the United States to gain experience.
The model - who has been featured in a TV commercial for Hush Puppies Pakistan - is currently looking for housing in New York City, a search he's called 'quite a ride'.
Munir's friends in the Big Apple recommended that the hunky soon-to-be doctor post an ad on Gypsy Housing - a closed Facebook group for people looking for housing accommodations and roommates - earlier this month which he did on June 15.
Some of Munir's New York-based friends recommended he post an ad on Gypsy Housing, a closed Facebook group for people looking for housing and roommates, so earlier this month, Munir did just that.
'I'm Rehan and I'm looking to rent a furnished room on the Upper East Side, Upper West Side or Midtown Manhattan,' he said in the post.
'I'm professional, friendly and easy to live with. Most of all, cleanliness is of utmost priority to me. Please let me know if you have any leads.'
In addition to the details about himself, the doctor added that he would be rotating at Mount Sinai Heart Hospital and was looking for a place to move in the price range of about $800.
But instead of potential living arrangements, Munir's post garnered a lot more support from soon to be fans.
'You can totally find a room for $800! Just will have more than a few roomies, so be warned. Also, and I apologize if this is inappropriate, but umm ... boyyyy you fine!' said Paige Kendrick on Facebook.
Adina Flyswatter offered a sweet deal after being smitten by his looks and said: 'U can live with me FOR FREE.'
The feeling of despair was evident in many comments as people wish they had rooms to offer the doctor.
'He's soooo HOT !!! D*** i wish i had a room to rent to him... lol,' said Nadlie Chino.
Les Vrtiak was straight to the point and said: 'Yeah you cute.'
Juni Odaglas let out a simple 'Omg' in their comment.
Some users, however couldn't help but be critical of all the attention that the hottie doctor received.
Linwood Young made reference to popular dating app Tinder and said: 'When did this become a dating app? I feel like half of y'all saw his photo and started swiping right based on habit, haha.'
Another user, Rich Gilberto, pointed out a double standard in the posting reactions and said: 'Damn, y'all, you would be going crazy right now if this was a bunch of men talking this way about an attractive woman. Dude just wants an apartment.'
Munir was surprised by the 'enthusiastic' response he got when he wrote the listing.
He said: 'It was pretty overwhelming. I wrote it and the next day I wake up and I see my post has been inundated with messages and it's reached a number of blogs locally and internationally. I found it hilarious! The Internet is really an unpredictable place.'
The doctor has yet to find housing and yes, he is currently single but for good reason.
'I'm single but trying to focus on my career at the moment,' he said.
Dairy Milk bars are being made in Poland as US owner of Cadbury breaks key promise The US owner of Cadbury is breaking a key promise and making an increasing amount of its iconic Dairy Milk chocolate bars in Poland rather than at its British base. Mondelez, which was created by Kraft, is making large 300g bars of Dairy Milk and some classic size 95g bars of the brand in its expanded factories in Wroclaw. This breaks a pledge given in the wake of Kraft’s bitter takeover of the British company seven years ago that it would continue to make the sweets at its historic Bournville home in the West Midlands. The Mail on Sunday found large Dairy Milk bars – brandishing a specific code on the wrapper indicating they were made in Poland – on sale in the UK in various major retailers, while the 95g bars were on sale in smaller shops. Last night Mondelez insisted that the production in Poland of 95g bars was a ‘temporary move’ because Bournville had been busy. But many traditionalists...
Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor top 10 moments Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor are masters of their craft but also world class promoters. In Showtime's four-part All Access programme, a behind-the-scenes look at both men not only helped hype the August 26 showdown but provided plenty of insight and entertaining moments. Sportsmail takes a look back at the top 10 highlights including Mayweather playing the cowboy and a trip to the Irishman's first ever boxing gym. Mayweather stacking cash What would a show around the 'Money Man' be if it failed to illustrate his ludicrous lifestyle. Mayweather has no qualms about flashing the cash and is seen taking out huge stacks out of a backpack. The 40-year-old is also filmed on board his private jet, tipping the pilots $1000 dollars each. Everyone knows Mayweather's lifestyle is as lavish as it comes but to see him throwing around that kind of money in it's physical form makes you stop in your tracks. Mc...
Prince Harry's style makeover by Meghan Markle Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went public with their romance, the Royal is rarely seen without a beaming smile. But Harry's evident happiness isn't the only impact his soon-to-be wife has had on his appearance - it seems his wardrobe has had something of an overhaul, too. Having once stuck to a reliable uniform of suits and ties for royal engagements, and chinos, colourful polo-shirts and sports jackets while off-duty, the Prince has displayed a noticeably more dapper style since he began stepping out with Meghan on his arm - and the change has not gone unnoticed by style commentators. In the weeks since their engagement was announced in November, the Prince has been snapped in more earthy and neutral coloured ensembles and well-tailored suits as seen during his appearance in Brixton on Tuesday. As well as opting for a more sophisticated colour palette, he has even been seen sartorially in sync with the...
