And Liam Payne, 23, showed girlfriend Cheryl, 33, exactly what she's missing - as he posted a sexy shirtless selfie to his Instagram page on Monday, while she remains home in England with their three-month-old son Bear.

Displaying his rock hard stomach and toned abs in the shot, Liam smouldered to the camera as he posed in the swanky marble bathroom.



Meanwhile, Cheryl has been lying low since the arrival of her little bundle of joy, and has kept fiercely private since giving birth on March 22nd.

Although the couple have been spotted by fans enjoying low-key dates at venues such as The Ivy in London, Cheryl has learnt how to dodge paparazzi and has avoided being photographed.

According to Closer magazine, the beauty has taken up private boxing lessons in a bid to get back into fighting shape and shed the baby weight with her personal trainer Shane Collins.



A source told the publication: 'Cheryl didn’t want to have people staring at her in the gym or at classes, so Shane goes to her house.'

It has also been reported that the former Girls Aloud star has stepped up her eating plan in a bid to propel her towards her physical goals.

'Cheryl has been on a sugar-free plan, which has helped her enormously, and has managed to wean herself off the chocolate and ice-cream treats during her pregnancy,' added the source.



Last month, Cheryl's 23-year-old beau revealed in a candid radio interview on Capital FM that the former X Factor judge still thinks that she's 'massive'.

Speaking to Nick Grimshaw, he said: 'Pregnancy is hard to deal with, it’s that first pair of jeans you can’t get into and she thinks she’s massive but she’s lost everything.'

Liam also divulged that it was actually One Direction bandmate Niall Horan and music mogul Simon Cowell who first set him up with girlfriend Cheryl.

The crooner confessed that the Syco owner and Niall had 'played cupid' by telling him the Fight For This Love singer had a crush on him - driving him to embark on a romance.



He said: 'Niall came over to me and said you'll never guess who's got a crush on you - Cheryl. I was saying something about Cheryl in Simon's house and he said I know who the future Mrs Payne is.'

Explaining the same had been done in reverse, he continued: 'Apparently, he really embarrassed her one day by saying, "Do you know who really really fancies you?"

'She left the room bright red and Niall told me this whole story. They played Cupid. They are your boys.'



However, the Wolverhampton native had previously confessed he wasn't sold on Cheryl's choice of moniker for their son - confessing that he wanted something more classic while she insisted on Bear.

Revealing the name was now his top choice, he told KISS FM: 'She wanted a very interesting name, when he leaves a room people wouldn't forget it. Which I think is it definitely does that.'

Yet he did confess that his heart had been set on something else at first, adding: 'I actually wanted, Arthur. I think you sound like a bit of a tank... Arthur Payne.

'He's not a guy you'd mess around with', before adding reassuringly: 'I don't think Bear is, either though.'
