Abby Lee Miller slammed by Dance Moms for promoting toyboy



He looked young enough to be considered jailbait.

But with Abbey Lee Miller heading to prison anyway, she didn't worry about flaunting her new boyfriend on the latest episode of Dance Moms.

The 50-year-old was slammed by her pupils' parents for opting for a rap track by her model toyboy Jordy as the music for the girls' final dance before her prison sentencing.



As usual, the gaggle of women had nothing but venom to spit at the reality star, who at the time of recording was about to learn her fate for committing fraud.

Knowing full well this may be the last time any of them sees her, the moms criticised Lee Miller for heading off to Europe instead of concentrating on the what was likely her last competition.



They were very skeptical of her priorities when she informed them the girls upcoming group dance would be performed by Jordys song about veganism.

The to-this-point-unknown rapper, who appeared to be approximately half Abbey's age, arrived at the studio to explain to the girls what veganism was, armed with a jar of vegan cookies.



He even performed an abridged version of the song for the moms as his phone played the music, prompting a polite smattering of applause to cover up the sounds of them trying not to laugh.

Jordy's lyric about the hypocrisy of loving animals while eating animals even kicked off an argument, as he begins preaching to the moms about their eating habits.

The argument threatened to take a sinister turn when Holly brings up the hypocrisy of slavery in the supposed Land of the Free, before it was thankfully diffused.



'I’m kind of annoyed at Abby right now because clearly her focus is on her boyfriend and promoting his new song and it is not about her providing the best possible dance routine for our girls at competition' she told the camera.

'This is just one final insult before Abby goes on to jail.'

By the time the competition rolled round, the moms were still skeptical about the 'Food For Thought' routine, which saw the girls' faces painted as animals while dressed in suits to 'represent the corporate side' of the food industry.



While worried no-one - especially the judges - would get it, they received a small confidence boost when some younger members of the audience tell them they recognise the dance is about veganism.

They soon learned that they need not have worried, as Food For Thought topped the competition.

Kalani's Do What You See, Brynn’s The Chase and Kendall's DOA all also netted solo trophies for the academy.



Meanwhile back at the studio, Abbey said a tearful goodbye to all her students.

She pleaded guilty to two counts of bankruptcy fraud on June 27, 2016 and, at the time of filming, she was facing a possible five years in jail.

She is currently serving a 366 day sentence.
