Chrissy Teigen roasts Ivanka Trump's grammar on Twitter



Chrissy Teigen has been a vocal critic of President Trump and his administration on Twitter, and she had no problem calling out his eldest daughter Ivanka for sharing a tweet with a blatant grammatical error on Tuesday.

After watching her father speak at the United Nations General Assembly, Ivanka, 35, took to her social media pages to share a photo of herself holding her new nephew Luke in Trump Tower, writing: 'Cuddling my little nephew Luke... the best part of an otherwise incredible day!'

Chrissy, 31, quickly pointed out Ivanka's poor word choice on Twitter, explaining: '"Otherwise" implies you did not like hangin with this baby' — and she wasn't the only one to mock the first daughter for her embarrassing error. 



'Doesn't she mean the rest of the day was incredible, and cuddling her nephew was even better?' Tom Davies asked, and Chrissy doubled down when she responded: 'Overall, is the word.'

Ivanka's younger brother Eric and his wife Lara welcomed their baby boy into the world last week, and Tuesday was the first time she got to meet the little boy.

Although most people understood what Ivanka was trying to say in her tweet, plenty of people roasted her for implying the exact opposite of what she meant.

Echoing Chrissy's sentiments, Raquel Hinson tweeted: 'Girl either hates her nephew or doesn't know what otherwise means.'



'Words mean things,' a woman named Hollie added. 'This makes no sense, dude.'

And a person known as 'amn' on Twitter referenced Ivanka starting college at Georgetown University before she transferred to the University of Pennsylvania.

'That Georgetown education shining here,' the person wrote. 'My state college education would tell me this reads as though your nephew ruined a good day.'

Chrissy was undoubtedly one of the most famous people to point out Ivanka's error, and just a few months ago she was relishing in the fact that President Trump finally unfollowed.

'After nine years of hating Donald J Trump, telling him "lol no one likes you" was the last straw,' she tweeted in July, sharing a screengrab of the message stating that @realDonaldTrump had blocked her.



As for Ivanka, Chrissy has made it clear that she doesn't think Ivanka should support her father, but she stated last year that she thought Trump's eldest daughter 'should probably run for office one day'.

However, it's unclear if her feelings toward Ivanka has changed since she has been working as a White House senior adviser.

'First of all, I think Ivanka seems like an incredibly wonderful businesswoman and mother,' Chrissy said in a September 2016 interview with Glamour.

'She has enviable poise and grace in a very difficult position. But I'll say this: I love my dad to death. But holy s**t, I would not advise you to vote for him for president. Ron Teigen Sr. and Donald Trump Sr. both have matching political qualifications: zero.

'Many (most) of Ivanka's ideals are the platform of the democratic party,' she added.
