Cheryl Burke will replace Abby Lee Miller on Dance Moms



Dancing With The Star's alum Cheryl Burke will be taking the place of Abby Lee Miller on Dance Moms, according to Entertainment Tonight.

'It’s a go with or without Abby,' explained a source close to the Lifetime show.

On Sunday, Miller announced her decision to quit Dance Moms, accusing the Lifetime producers of 'manipulating and disrespecting' her.



Dance Moms is 'said to be a go with or without Abby,' and that 'It’s been up in the air because the network said it’s either all of the cast or they weren’t doing any [more episodes],' according to ET's source.

According to ET, former DWTS pro Burke plans on joining The Abby Lee Dance Company Wednesday to film the final four episodes of the season with the dancers.

Abby Lee Miller's departure from the series was announced with a dramatic Instagram post Sunday evening.

'I will no longer take part in Dance Moms. For the past six years/ seven seasons I have asked, begged, and even demanded creative credit for all the ideas, award winning routines, themes, and costuming - to no avail!.' Miller wrote. 



'Today I was so proud that I went against the producer's idea (once again) to enter a command performance of one of my favorite numbers..."Where Have The Children Gone?" Along with three beautiful solos!

'I don't have a problem working with any kid, I love children and have dedicated my life to making other people's children successful!'

It was Miller's last sentence that stung the most as she accused the Lifetime producers of mistreating her.



'I just have a problem with being manipulated, disrespected, and used - day in and day out by men who never took a dance lesson in their lives and treat women like dirt.' the choreographer wrote.

Lifetime has yet to officially comment on Miller's comments.



The news comes after members of Miller's junior elite competition team chose to compete with another studio at a recent dance competition.

'An end of an era, the beginning of our future,' one of the moms, Holly Frazier, captioned a photo of daughter Nia Sioux, Kendall Vertes, Kalani Hilliker and Cameron Bridges at 8 Count Dance Academy in Los Angeles.

Also in the photo was former Abby Lee Dance Company dancer Chloe Lukasiak, who said she would return to the show if Miller wasn’t teaching.

The feud began when Miller left the team for three weeks leaving choreographers Laurie-Ann Gibson and Meagan Nugent to take over.



When she returned mom Kira Girard tweeted 'Got to love she shows up with a list of what we can and can’t say after 3 weeks gone! This is what you want @lifetimetv [we’re] out,'

Miller is currently embroiled in a bankruptcy fraud case.

She was charged in October 2015 with attempting to hide $775,000 of income from her TV show during Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. 



In January, the reality star agreed to forfeit $120,000 in Australian currency that she snuck into the country in 2014, the Associated Press reported.

She faces up to 30 months in prison when she's sentenced on May 8.
