Drake gets tattoo of young Denzel Washington



He's already amassed an extensive collection of eclectic inkings.

But Drake's latest tattoo is of Denzel Washington, with the rapper opting for a design of the fresh-faced Oscar-winner as jazz trumpeter Bleek Gilliam in the 1990 Mo’ Better Blues.

Toronto-based tattoo artist Inal Bersekov shared a snap of the tat on his Instagram feed on Sunday.

But Drake's latest tattoo is of Denzel Washington, with the rapper opting for a design of the fresh-faced Oscar-winner as jazz trumpeter Bleek Gilliam in the 1990 Mo’ Better Blues.

Toronto-based tattoo artist Inal Bersekov shared a snap of the tat on his Instagram feed on Sunday.



It was the second tattoo the artist gave the rapper; he also shared a pic of rapper's tribute to his friend Anthony 'Fif' Soares, who was gunned down in Toronto last week.

'Was honored to pay tribute tattooing "FIF" on my brother @champagnepapi,' the artist wrote the following day. 'Rest in peace.'



On Friday, the Hotline Bling hitmaker posted his own tribute to Soares with the photo he used for the tattoo.

'RIP to one of our family members...our brother... I still can't even believe this morning was real,' he wrote.

'It was a honor to have shared years together and I will always keep your memory alive - Forever Fif'.

Drake has several portraits of people who are important to him tattooed all over his body, inducing his parents Dennis and Sandi, his late uncle and grandmother, Aaliyah, Lil Wayne, and two of Sade.



He also has a matching camouflage shark tattoo with Rihanna, which reportedly symbolized an aquarium date they had together.

He has several more besides, including a flower, a Jack-o-lantern, a compass, praying hands, an Eye of Horus, the number six, a skull, a bottle of Drakkar Noir cologne and the BBK logo.

While backstage at the Billboard Music Awards earlier this year, Drake told fellow Canadian Celine Dion she my be joining his tattoo collection within the next year.
