They are in the throes of romance after nearly six months as a couple. 

And Jennifer Lopez and her athlete beau Alex Rodriguez looked super loved-up as they enjoyed a romantic date night at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Houston, ahead of the Game 5 of the World Series championship on Sunday. 

The 48-year-old Jenny From The Block hitmaker went for her typical brand of edgy cool as she sported staggering ankle boots with tight jeans and a camel coat while getting into a car with her dashing boyfriend, 42. 

Jennifer and Alex first went public with their romance when they stormed the red carpet at the Met Gala in May, after which they have been seen on an array of romantic outings - with Sunday being the latest date. 

She looked stunning for the outing as she slipped into the skin-tight jeans which showed off her toned legs while her ankle boots highlighted her pins. 

The hitmaker scraped her hair into a high bun while keeping a low profile with sunglasses - despite the dark falling - alongside thick gold hoop earrings. 

Giving a hint to her superstar status, she toted a brightly coloured Louis Vuitton handbag from the recent collaboration with Jeff Koons.  

Alex meanwhile matched her with his sunglasses while combining smart and casual with a tailored coat layered over a hoodie.

Speaking of Jennifer and his kids Ella, 9, and Natasha, 12, he told People magazine: 'She is such a great role model. They look at her like she’s the Messiah. When they’re in Las Vegas, I don’t think they leave Jennifer’s side...

'My girls essentially hit the lottery. What 12-year-old and 9-year-old wouldn’t feel like: "Oh my God, I’m the luckiest human being on the planet?" They’re super thrilled!'.
