'Pregnant' Kylie Jenner terrifies fans on Snapchat
She takes to the app multiple times a day to interact with her fans, as the most followed user on the entire platform.
But Kylie Jenner's legion of Snapchat followers were left terrified on Monday, after noticing a ghostly figure in the background of one of her posts.
The 20-year-old, who is rumoured to be expecting her first child, was sharing a clip of her new walk-in-wardrobe when followers spotted a 'creepy' shadow behind her - which looked strikingly similar to famous serial killer Freddy Krueger.
Going about her business on the app, Kylie was happily showing off her new 'purse closet' to fans when the spooky incident occurred.
Filming the inside of the wardrobe, which was lined with mirrors, fans immediately spotted a tall, shadowy figure standing behind her.
Only making the incident more terrifying, the faceless figure appeared to be sporting a fedora hat - much like the Nightmare On Elm Street villain.
Her followers immediately took to Twitter to express their terror, with one writing: 'Did anyone notice this on Kylie's Snapchat? It appears immediately! WTF!'
Further fans were quick to agree, chiming in: 'Soo creepy!' and 'Jeepers creepers!'
Acknowledging the figure's similarity to the film's dream-demon, others soon noted: 'Not even gonna lie, while I was watching this I thought it was Freddy Kreuger' and 'Freddy Krueger... lol'
However after the furore, Kylie was quick to clarify that it was her friend Harry Hudson, in order to calm her panicking fans.
Kylie has been posting on Snapchat as usual in recent weeks, despite swirling rumours she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Travis Scott.
Last week, the reality star only appeared to heighten the rumours by posing in a sports bra on the app - which gave a flash of her seemingly increased cleavage.
She has also recently been posting either old or close-up photos of herself, and failed to appear in the family photo, taken during filming for the Keeping Up With The Kardashian Christmas special.
Kylie is yet to confirm the news herself, but she is believed to already be five months along.
It was reported by TMZ last month that she has already secretly spent up to $70,000 on clothes and accessories for the tot, while RadarOnline claims she has hired a pregnancy coach.
