Embarrassed Barron Trump snatches hand away from Melania

An embarrassed Barron Trump snatched his hand away from mother Melania during the inauguration parade on Friday.

The 10-year-old acted like an awkward preteen when he refused to hold hands with the new First Lady.

The youngest member of the Trump clan was quick to shake off his mother's attempts to grab him when the world's cameras were focused on the family.



Instead Mrs Trump had to settle for straightening her son's tie and lovingly patting his head later in the day.

The embarrassing moment came shortly after he was spotted yawning during his father's swearing-in ceremony.

The sleepy schoolboy caused a storm on social media when viewers noticed his bored expression.  



One user wrote: 'Inauguration was boring, low energy, small crowd compared to Obama's. Best part was watching Barron's continuous yawning.

Another added: 'Barron Trump is yawning more than I do in my macroeconomics class.'

While one commented: 'Barron Trump is laughing, yawning, and on his Gameboy. He's quickly becoming my favorite Trump.'



This is not the first time the boy has been caught looking uninterested at one of his father's event. He was also caught yawning when Trump won the election in November last year.

Barron will be the first young boy to live in the White House since JFK's son toddler son John in the 1960s.
