Beyoncé wore $6 8m of custom jewellery to Grammys

She stole the show at the Grammys with her blinging look - but it turns out it costs several million dollars to get Beyoncé's look. 

According to ET, the 36-year-old singer, who skipped the red carpet, but posted on Instagram, opted for $6.8 million worth of Lorraine Schwartz jewels at the event on Sunday night, in which her look also paid tribute to the Black Panther party. 

The site reported that she wore, 'a custom-made pair of 70-carat diamond and titanium geometric earrings with 35-carat centre gems.

'She also adorned her hands with three platinum-set diamond rings and slipped on a pair of Alain Mikli sunglasses, which are worth $380.'

Beyonce also wore a black velvet gown which served as the perfect backdrop to the diamonds and had very sexy double thigh-splits at the front. 

Her look was completed with a slanted hat and killer heels by Jimmy Choo and a mini clutch bag by Judith Leiber and her make-up artist revealed that her look was inspired by the Black Panthers. 

Her L’Oréal Paris make-up artist, Sir John, told People: 'It started with Super Bowl last January, and here we are a year later.

'If you look at the beret from yesterday [at Clive Davis' Pre-Grammys Party], the turtleneck part of the dress tonight – its sculptural silhouette,'

'It was a really strong, powerful moment. This is something that is representative of love and solidarity for her people.'  

She shared several pictures of herself on Instagram, keeping the captioning to a minimum.

And while Jay Z and his wife might seem like the coolest parents around, but they still manage to embarrass Blue Ivy.

The precocious six-year-old took charge at the Grammys and ordered her famous mom and dad to chill out.

With a steely gaze, and a nonchalant 'calm down' hand gesture, she immediately brought them to heel as they clapped enthusiastically at her side.

A clip of the moment Blue silenced her parents during a speech about the Dreamers by Cuban-born singer Camila Cabello instantly went viral, with her attitude delighting fans on social media.

Blue and her mom were at the Madison Square Garden show in New York to cheer on Jay Z, who was nominated for eight awards for his album 4:44.

Having skipped the red carpet, music's first family sat front row, with Blue sandwiched between her famous parents.

Wearing white - complete with mini heels - the kindergarten student's outfit stood out against the black worn by both her parents.
