Hilary Duff shocked fans as she posed with a baby belly on Tuesday.

But it turns out the 30-year-old actress was wearing a fake bump for a new movie role as she rubbed her stomach during the Instagram boomerang clip.

Wearing a pale pink nightgown, the Younger star captioned the cute post: 'not really pregnant guys....just shooting a movie.' 

The Disney Channel alum looked every inch the expectant mother in her sleeveless maternity nightgown.

She kept her trademark sandy blonde tresses long and loose as they cascaded over her petite shoulders.

Hilary also promoted her new eyeglass line by adding: 'Of course my faves are the “Lizzie” @glassesusa muse x Hilaryduff which are your faves???? Tell me tell me now!'

While not pregnant at the moment, Hilary does shares 5-year-old son Luca with ex-husband former pro hockey player Mike Comrie.

The exes married in 2010 before finalizing their divorce in 2016.

In early 2017, Hilary began dating Matthew Koma for three months until they broke up due to scheduling conflicts. They got back together last fall.

In the interim, Hilary had been photographed last August passionately kissing businessman Ely Sandvik, whom she was then reportedly dating. 

Hilary recently opened up about getting back with her ex: 'Timing is such a big deal. Third time's a charm!' she said on The Talk.

The former Disney star was originally asked her thoughts on Selena Gomez' decision to rekindle her romance with Justin Bieber while appearing on The Talk.

Hilary told the hosts of The Talk that she knows from personal experience that it getting back with an ex works.

She said: 'It's going so great! I mean, this is like the third time that we've dated and I think that what [Selena] says has so much merit to it. Timing is such a big deal.'

Hilary continued during her appearance: 'Third time's a charm! I think that you have history and a past with someone and love, and just because it doesn't work out the first time, the second time, as long as there's not too much damage done, then, it can always workout again.'
