Eighties pop band Bananarama to make MASSIVE comeback



Eighties girl band Bananarama are going to head out on a comeback tour as a trio.

Siobhan Fahey, 58 - who left the girl group in 1988 - will reunite with bandmates Sarah Dallin, 55, and Keren Woodward, 56, for the gigs 30 years after she quit.

The pop princesses broke the news on Twitter, revealing they were excited to be returning to perform live across the country.



Their official page tweeted: 'Miss Fahey is BACK! We're so excited to be going on tour this Nov/Dec.' (sic)

The Ain't What You Do hitmakers first talked about getting the girls back together over Christmas.

While Siobhan revealed she didn't say yes straight away, the songstress said she knew it was the right time to return to her roots.



Describing the moment, she told The Sun: 'It's pretty nerve wracking for me, it was 29 years ago that I left so I'm rusty to say the least.

'My heart felt a sense of absolute joy and I just felt it was the right time in my life.

'We're going to go back and celebrate that extraordinary life we led together in our twenties.'



Siobhan quit when she became frustrated with the direction the band was taking and went onto form Shakespears Sister.

The new UK tour will run through November and December of this year.

Fans were sent into a frenzy and have flooded social media posts gushing with posts about the band.



One follower said: 'Siobhan Fahey returning is literally all I can think about.'

Others followed suit, adding: 'Holy s***! Siobhan Fahey has rejoined Bananarama and they've announced a UK tour. You can't beat the original line up. Love her.'

'My life is made. @bananarama's original line up is reforming.' (sic)

'So excited about the original line up of bananarama getting back together...I feel like 14 again.' (sic)

'The queens are back.'
