Kim Kardashian shares pictures from Met Gala 2015 look



Kim Kardashian said she's thrilled she has lost 10lbs before the big 2017 Met Gala event that will take place in New York City on Monday.

And it's obvious the 36-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is excited to attend the splashy party held at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art.

On Friday the wife of Kanye West shared on kimkardashianwest.com three behind-the-scenes shots from her appearance at the 2015 Met Gala.



'For the 2015 Met Gala, I wore a custom Roberto Cavalli gown by Peter Dundas,' the siren began.

'It was the first dress Peter designed for Roberto Cavalli!'

The Selfish author added: 'I was two months pregnant with Saint at the time, so I was trying to hide it.'



The cover girl also said: 'My inspiration for the dress came from Cher’s look at the first-ever Met Gala. I was surreal to meet her later that night.'

Cher wore the look in 1974. The dress was created by Bob Mackie, best known for his work with Joan Collins on TV's Dynasty.

'For my glam, Mario Dedivanovic did my makeup and Peter Savic did my hair. At first, we did a Samurai bun and then switched it up to a sleek ponytail.'

Kim is expected to pull off another showstopper on Monday.



The theme is Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between, an exhibit that examines the work of the famed 74-year-old Japanese fashion designer over the span of 40-some years.

Katy Perry is one of the hosts.

'People always think that she’s a postmodernist because she uses what appears to be deconstruction,' said Andrew Bolton, the head curator at the Costume Institute, told The Cut. 'But her constant search for originality or newness is the defining feature of her work.'

The clothing is from Kawakubo’s archive, and according to the Met, 'objects will be organized into eight aesthetic expressions of interstitiality in Kawakubo’s work: Fashion/Anti-Fashion, Design/Not Design, Model/Multiple, Then/Now, High/Low, Self/Other, and Clothes/Not Clothes.'

Also on Friday, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner took to Snapchat to celebrate a decade on the air with KUWTK

In one post, the 19-year-old cosmetics queen said 'Oh my God!' as she flashed an image with Khloe, 32, where she was licking her chest. The photo was hung up on a wall.



The image was taken from a photo booth. Kim and blonde stylist Simone Harouche are also seen in the same booth where they flashed peace signs.

Also on Snapchat Khloe shared a photo of 40-ounce bottle of rose wine. The girlfriend of Tristan Thompson was then seen eating a slice of cake.

The ladies appeared to be in a photo studio with their glam team



It was hinted that they are filming a 10-year anniversary special to air on E!

The special most likely will be a part of the regular show which is now on season 13.

Kim, Khloe and Kylie were all styled and glammed to the nines, so it was obvious they were taping something.



The show launched in 2007 after Kris Jenner created the series along with Ryan Seacrest and Eliot Goldberg.

Kim was hot after the release of her sex tape with Ray J.

Soon after, the Calabasas native posed for Playboy magazine.



The series proved successful for E!, and has led to the creations of spin-offs including Kourtney And Kim Take New York and Kourtney And Kim Take Miami as well as Dash Dolls and Rob & Chyna.

The current season of KUWTK has been focusing on the stress Kim feels after her Paris jewel heist in October 2016.

It also takes a look at Rob Kardashian troubled engagement to Blac Chyna. Together they have daughter Dream, who was born in November.
