She lost a huge 100,000 followers after her fans protested against her unairbrushed bikini snaps.

And it appears Kim Kardashian is doing all she can to claw back her followers as she posed a very sexy picture of herself on Instagram on Friday morning.

The 36-year-old looked incredible as she posed in her white thong bikini while on holiday in Mexico, flaunting her toned abs for the camera.



She wore a plunging vest top which was cut down the front to reveal her ample assets, tying the top at the front to reveal further skin.

With her hair tied up in plaits and wearing designer shades, the defiant reality star turned her head to the side in a coy fashion.

Proving the recent backlash against her unairbrushed bikini snaps hasn't fazed her in the slightest, she captioned the image with one simple word: 'Hey!'

Kim is the fifth most popular celebrity on Instagram with almost 98.7million followers, just behind Ariana Grande, Beyonce, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez.

Kim was enjoying a girls' holiday in Mexico to celebrate her sister Kourtney Kardashian's birthday this week when photographers snapped her in a variety of skimpy bikinis.

The pictures showed off Kim's natural figure and revealed her curvaceous behind which was a little dimpled with cellulite.

But fans have seized on the difference between the paparazzi pictures and the snaps Kim posts on social media herself, claiming that Photoshop and even plastic surgery are behind the difference.

The mum-of-two was blasted on Twitter and Instagram with former fans declaring her 'fake'.



One Instagram user told Kim that there was 'nothing real' about her.

Geegeelove1 wrote: 'Kim you make me feel sick talking about your flawless body when you run to the plastic surgeon for everything. There is nothing real about you.'

Another joined in the chorus of criticism writing: 'Nothing natural about years of botox'.

While one former fan, whose handle on Instagram is christian.telleria, wrote: 'Your body is completely fake'.

Another user, Hey_Kendi, commented underneath a picture of Kim with sister Kourtney: 'The natural one. Kimmy would look that good too if she stayed away from all that plastic surgery. Injections, implants, shots; just say no.'



Another fan blamed Kim for allegedly airbrushing her photographs.

Ray Sanders tweeted: 'Absolutely unbelievable. Wake up and face reality. Photoshop is your best friend @KimKardashian.'

Some fans came to Kim's defense with Susanna Reid arguing with Good Morning Britain co-host Piers Morgan about the pictures.

Piers said: 'The air brushing is in your face... This is what she really looks like.'

But Susanna declared that Kim 'looks fantastic' and 'very slim'.

Kim is famous for thrilling fans with bikini selfies and is even partial to the odd nude shot.



She famously courted controversy when she shared a naked selfie with the caption: 'When you're like I have nothing to wear LOL'.

And now fans are claiming that Kim's body is very different from the perfectly voluptuous one she has revealed to fans on Instagram.

However Kim clearly didn't give a jot about the backlash and firmly reminded her critics that she was the one with the 'flawless' figure, luxuriating on a beach in Mexico.

The beauty tweeted on Wednesday: 'Oh and as for me you ask? ...I'm just sitting here on the beach with my flawless body.'
