She welcomed her 38th birthday on April 18 and has been celebrating her big day in lavish style over the past few days with a beach break on the sun-kissed shores of Mexico's exclusive Punta Mita.

And on Monday, Kourtney Kardashian showed just how much her active lifestyle and healthy eating regimes have paid off, as she put her enviably toned physique on display in a black thong bikini while soaking up the sun.

However, not content with just looking fit, the mother-of-three proved that her athletic prowess is still a force to be reckoned with, as she was seen performing a series of cartwheels on the grounds of her luxury accommodation.



The birthday girl was a sight to behold in her barely there ensemble of choice, showing off her perky chest, rippling abs and toned legs in a halterneck two-piece that left very little to the imagination.

Kourtney, who travelled south of the order with her sister Kim Kardashian and a group of pals, also enjoyed an outdoor shower, after enjoying a dichotomous day that included both acrobatics and lounging in the sun.



The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star's raven tresses fell in damp waves down her back as she enjoyed hours of fun and frolics at the five star Casa Aramara resort, before sharing details of her raucous antics on social media.

In the middle of the day, she took to Twitter to announce that her getaway had taken something of a wild turn, as she wrote: 'I may or may not have thrown up four times last night and slept in it. #birthdayvibes.'



She also retweeted her younger sister Kim, who repeated the assertions about her vomiting episode and also wrote: 'Oh and @kourtneykardash won't stop doing naked cart wheels.' (sic)

Her sibling, who is married to rapper Kanye West, also put on her own eye-popping display, as she was seen displaying her famously bulbous derriere in black bikini bottoms, teamed with a grey lace-up crop top.

Kourtney has often talked about having had breast enhancement surgery on her hit reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians; she was 22 when she underwent the cosmetic procedure.

And the eldest of the Kardashian sisters appears to be more body confident than ever, as she shared a nude photograph of herself to mark of her 38th birthday last week.



Kourtney is the mother of three children: Mason, seven; Penelope, four; and Reign, two, with ex Scott Disick.

She maintains her fit form through regular gruelling workouts with a personal trainer; the star often shares clips of her sessions to her Snapchat account.

In addition, the E! starlet follows a gluten-free and dairy-free diet. She has spoken out about keeping her household stocked with items like coconut and almond milk as substitutes for dairy.

Kourtney also avoids sugar, specifically of the refined variety, and has divulged that she prefers organic and non-GMO groceries.

While Kourtney has been posting snaps of her getaway, Kim has also been sharing snippets, including a post where she opened up about her hairstylist pal Jen Atkin ribbing her for consuming junk food.
