Looks like this model was one of the lucky ones to get the call that the Fyre Festival was a bust.

As hundreds of festival goers, who shelled out thousands of dollars, battled to get home from the Fyre Festival, Bella Hadid spent the day in the lap of luxury on Friday.

Many shelled out up to $13,000 to party alongside the 20-year-old and her model mates but she never left Miami to join them.



A number of A-listers, Bella included it seems, got the heads up early that the supposedly luxury festival location in the Bahamas was not up to scratch.

So instead of flying out from Miami - which served as the travel base for those headed to the festival - Bella kicked back by the pool.



Getting a chance to catch some rays in a tiny weeny bikini was obviously a very different experience to those left at the festival site or sleeping in the airport trying to get home.

While those at Fyre battled over water and were fed cheese sandwiches - if they were lucky - the model had drink and food waiters ready to fetch her whatever her heart desired.



As Bella stretched out on her crisp white high thread count towel-covered pool chair, festival goers were lining up for hours to get a flight home or facing another night on wet mattresses in FEMA-style tents.

It is also safe to say that the beauty did not have to worry about hoards of feral dogs as she and her friend Fanny Bourdette-Donon relaxed.

If she was concerned about her name being connected to one of the most poorly executed festivals in living music memory, Bella was not showing it.



She and Fanny chatted away and checked out their phones poolside.

Ready to beat the Miami heat before it became too unbearable, Bella popped into the pool.

The catwalk star gingerly walked down the luxury hotel's pool stairs before putting her shoulders under the cool waters.



For her pool day, Bella showed off her famous frame in a cheeky white bikini.

The white swimsuit featured a white fixed triangle bra which was classic and understated.

But the model turned up the heat thanks to her daring bottoms which were a Brazilian, almost thong, cut.

The brief bottoms left her derriere exposed and she wore the adjustable straps up and over her hips.

Aside from the barely-there bathers, Bella kept the sun off her face with a straw fedora.

The 20-year-old also added some bling wearing a gold chain and some crucifix earrings.



As Bella tanned and relaxed, the festival which she helped to promote was due to start - if it had not been cancelled on Friday morning.

Bella along with Elsa Hosk, Emily Ratajkowsk, Lais Ribeiro, Gizele Oliveira and Rose Bertram were invited to the island in December 'to give feedback' on the festival launch.

Their visit was video tapped and used to encourage people to buy tickets to the music festival.

Bella also posted numerous social media shots of herself enjoying her vacation in the Bahamas.

It is not known if the star and her beautiful pals actually visited the private island located in Exumas that the festival was held on or another one in the cay.

Bella's and the other models' Instagram snaps certainly did not look like those being posted by those who arrived early at the festival.



Pictures on social media by those at Fyre showed half-built tents, wet mattresses, mountains of trash.

Those on site claimed there was rat droppings everywhere dogs wandering around, thugs looting alcohol and no electricity.

Some claim there was not enough water and despite the promise of gourmet food there was little more than sad sandwiches for a lucky few and chips for the rest of the crowd.



Festival organizers said Friday that the event had been 'fully postponed' due to 'unforeseen and extenuating circumstances' while Bahamas tourism bosses have today offered 'heartfelt apologies'.

Ticket prices ranged from $400 for a day pass to more than $12,750 for a VIP package including flights from Miami, ocean view accommodation in a 'rustic tent' and four festival passes.

A performance line-up over two weekends boasted the likes of Pusha T, Tyga, Blink 182, Major Lazer, Skepta and Disclosure.

According to Page Six A-listers - which may have included Bella - were warned not to head to the site.



A source told Page Six: 'They called all the A-list names and the modeling agencies and told them not to come. They were just like, ''Oh, come next weekend when all the kinks have been worked out.'' This was before the chaos even started.'

Co-organizer Ja Rule took to Twitter to apologize for Fyre Fest saying it was: 'NOT A SCAM. We are working right now on getting everyone of[f] the island SAFE that is my immediate concern... I will make a statement soon I'm heartbroken at this moment my partners and I wanted this to be an amazing event it was NOT A SCAM as everyone is reporting.
