Susanna Reid lauds Kim Kardashian's unretouched bikini



Susanna Reid has thrown her support behind Kim Kardashian, after the reality star was photographed in a bikini looking totally unretouched.

The 46-year-old TV host spoke on Good Morning Britain about the images released on Monday, in which she sparked mass debate due to her 'unedited' body which led tongues to wag regarding the image she displays on social media.

While Susanna's co-host Piers Morgan insisted the images are what Kim, 36, would deem 'not for public consumption', the TV favourite insisted women would 'embrace her honesty' before stating 'cellulite is to be celebrated'.



As ever, Susanna and Piers were displaying their fiery dynamic as they weighed in on the widely-discussed images in which Kim sizzled in a barely-there Christian Dior bikini which struggled to contain her ample assets.

Her famed curves, particularly her shapely derriere, which Kim has persistently denied is not surgically-enhanced, atop her heaving cleavage were the focus of the sizzling look which left very little to the imagination.



On Good Morning Britain, the presenters got talking about the snaps as an irked Piers appeared to allude to Kim's apparent fondness for digital wizardry, saying: 'The air brushing is in your face. These are not the 'consumption for public view' pictures.

Susanna however took a different stance on the snaps as she insisted seeing the superstar in her natural form was a refreshing twist in her much-photographed tale.

She hit back: 'I think she looks fantastic! I'm glad these pictures are a a bit more honest. Cellulite is to be celebrated and I think women will embrace the honesty.'

As Piers asked the brunette beauty if stretch marks were to be celebrated, the incensed star, insisted: 'It absolutely is to be celebrated'.

Later on in the show the subject arose once more, in which they once again indulged in their usual playful banter as he said: 'Well I do think your cellulite's really hot', before alarmed Susanna said: 'You've never seen my cellulite'.



The comments came shortly after Kim accused her pals of 'fat-shaming' her on the trip as she opened up about her hairstylist pal Jen Atkin picking on her about junk food as she wrote: '. @jenatkinhair spiked my Oreo shake to try to get me to not eat it because she's fat shaming me.'

She later shared a video of herself enjoying the liquid snack as she consumed it by the spoonful in a post which she captioned with two middle-finger emojis and the hashtag '#F***YouJenAtkin.'

It all didn't seem to bother Kim one bit, however, as after she gave an update on all the girls on the trip she wrote about herself: 'Oh and as for me you ask? ...I'm just sitting here on the beach with my flawless body.'
