The Queen hosts 40th anniversary of the Motability charity

The Queen is never short of luxury cars to take her to get her from A to B, however, today's transport was a little less swish.
The 91-year-old Monarch could today been inspecting a rather battered looking three-wheeler in the grounds of Windsor Castle.
While the classic car was not intended for the Queen's use the royal showed plenty of fascination in the vehicle that differed greatly from the Bentley she is normally seen travelling in.

The little blue car was on show at the Queen's home in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Motability.
The vehicles called Invacars, also known as blue trikes in the 1960s and 70s, were provided as a subsidised, low-cost vehicle to aid the mobility of people who were had disabilities.
Today celebrates the progress of mobility in Britain giving special thanks to Motability.

The charity enables disabled people, their families and carers to lease a new car, scooter or powered wheelchair using their mobility allowance.
The Queen welcomed members of the charity and those who had benefited from it to the castle.
Her Majesty looked charming in a fuchsia coloured dress coat with a matching hat which displayed black accents.
After taking a look at the vintage cars the Queen was delighted to meet the acquaintance of seven year old Dina Rayburn.

The charming school girl curtseyed as she presented the great-grandmother with a posy yellow spring flowers.
As well as receiving gifts of her own the monarch found time to present new mobility vehicles to her guests today.
She was seen chatting with Edward Todino with his state of the art car in the Quadrangle at Windsor Castle.
Former Royal Marine, Paul Barrett, who was injured in action was also presented with his very own mobility car during this afternoon's celebrations.
