Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik kiss on her 22nd birthday



When you are one of the biggest models in the world, marking your 22nd birthday is not a casual affair.

Gigi Hadid celebrated her birthday surrounded by her loved ones and some clouds on Sunday.

The now 22-year-old got rather spoilt as she marked the milestone in New York.



The catwalk star celebrated her birthday with boyfriend Zayn Malik, her mom Yolanda Hadid and her sister Bella Hadid.

The Victoria's Secret model was also joined by some friends including fellow model Karlie Kloss.

Gigi was surrounded in love on her special day, especially from her singer beau.



The model posted a very sweet picture of herself and Zayn kissing as she held up a cake which he presumably organised for her.

But the cake was just the beginning, with the model showered in gifts.

The star Snapchatted some of her birthday bounty which included a stuffed toys, a pinata and a box of Venus Et Fleur roses which last a year but cost close to $600.



Gigi was also given a huge bunch of red long stemmed roses which she refused to let go of.

The floral display even stayed with her as she and her party crew took a birthday helicopter ride.

For her birthday, Gigi was obviously feeling pretty in pink with the color incorporated through her ensemble and her day.

For her flight, the 22-year-old wore a pair of blue jeans with a cropped white T-shirt.

The tee showed off the model's incredibly flat stomach.

Adding in her pink theme, the style star wore a pink Alice + Oliva duster coat and a pair of pink Gucci fur loafers.



Gigi wore her locks slicked back into a bun and added a pair of round circular frames.

It was fortunate that her hair was slicked back, as later the model and her friends decided to have some fun and try on wigs.

The beauty opted, of course, for a long pink wig.
