Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale's bikini twerk a thon

 Former Disney actresses Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale turned up the heat in a series of videos posted to Instagram on Saturday.

The High School Musical co-stars wasted no time starting off their weekend by stripping down to leopard print swimsuits with a group of girlfriends.

Tisdale, 31, posted a video of the girls in an all-out twerk fest to a remix of Andhim's Boy Boy Boy as they kicked off festivities at an undisclosed location.



Vanessa, 28, followed suit with a series of posts showing she and her girlfriends dancing around the idyllic vacation home with the caption 'Did someone say girls pool day?'

The ladies lined up on a staircase and danced to DNA by Kendrick Lamar while giggling.

Vanessa's younger sister Stella, 21, was with the gang that also included singers GG Magree and Laura Jayne New.



Hudgens wore a tiny leopard print bikini with sheer panels throughout.

Tisdale chose a more covered-up one piece but still did not seem to mind showing off her bottom on Instagram in a video that had her hanging over the edge of the hot tub.

At one point, they joked that they were The Cheetah Girls, which was another popular Disney franchise that aired around the same time as High School Musical.



The ladies skyrocketed to fame when HSM became a huge success for The Disney Channel in 2006.

A sequel soon followed as well as a feature film to close out the franchise in 2008.

Vanessa dated co-star Zac Efron from 2006 until 2010. In a 2015 interview with The New York Times, she said she experienced some jealousy over his rabid female fans.



'Girls were running after him, and I was giving them death stares,' she said. 'Then I realized that’s not what that’s about. "Spread the love, be a good person, they support you, be nice."'

After Efron, Vanessa began dating actor Austin Butler, whom she is still in a relationship with currently.

Tisdale has been married to singer Christopher French since 2014.

He is the lead singer of rock band Annie Automatic, and they revealed they were dating in 2012.
