She's built up quite a fitness empire on the back of releasing a number of DVDs and cookbooks in the past.

So it's no surprise, Davina McCall, 49, looked incredibly youthful in her holiday snap from France which she shared on Instagram, along with a quip about her intimate grooming habits on Friday.

Oozing body confidence, the television sensation flashed her sensational figure in the skimpy striped halterneck bikini as she courted attention of fellow beach-goers.



The fitness guru sported tiny string bottoms to match which put her abs on display and best showed off the rewards of her health kicks - but admitted she was worried about the skimpy nature of the bikini.

No doubt the Wimbledon born beauty was living her best life as she threw her head back with a huge smile on her face, accentuated by light touches of make-up.

The former Big Brother presenter proved prepared for the sweltering climes when she shielded her eyes from the sun with huge purple sunglasses.



Along with her snap, the star showed off her cheeky side as she made a lewd joke about her personal grooming as she gently poked fun at her bikini photograph.

Davina captioned the shot: 'Goodbye South of France till next year ... tu me manques déjà.

'Really hoping I haven't got any pubes sticking out of my bikini. Always a bit dodgy posting something when I'm not wearing glasses.'

The body image champion also enthused about older women looking fit and healthy in their bikinis on the beach in the South of France.

She tweeted: 'So many wonderful women in bikinis in their 60s and 70s here in France looking really fit and healthy ... feeling so inspired.' (sic)



Davina has built up quite a fitness empire as she has made it a central aspect of her life after she released a string of workout DVDs and healthy cookbooks.

In an interview with Fit & Well magazine, she explained that she and her husband of 17 years Matthew Robertson often enjoy exercising together with their three children, Holly, 15, and Tilly, 13, and son Chester, 10.

Revealing they often use forms of exercise, such as cycling, during their family days out, she said: 'We love sharing a hobby together.

'We don't have to motivate each other to exercise - whether that's going out on the bikes or to the gym together - because it's become part of our lives.
