And Fergie was celebrating the little boy's fourth birthday in style on Tuesday, sharing a sweet selfie of the pair to mark his big day.

The Black Eyed Peas star can be seen posing cheek-to-cheek with the youngster, flashing big beaming smiles.



Fergie captioned the endearing image, 'Happy 4th bday axl jack!!! i love you -mommy'.

The 42-year-old singer also posted a black and white snap of her and Axl, both sporting toy crowns.

She wrote alongside the image: '#doubletrouble happy 4th bday #axljack'.

The birthday boy was inundated with well-wishes from Fergie's fans following the sweet public display of affection.

Earlier this month, Fergie shared a nude black and white snap in an effort to promote her long-delayed second solo studio album Double Dutchess, which is rumored to drop in September.

The pop diva captioned her sultry mirroring images 'tick' and 'tock' for her captive combined 18.3M social media followers.

The seven-time Grammy winner has also shared several creepy videos of herself resembling FX's American Horror Story promos, which didn't even sample her music.



'It kind of really is a 10-year reunion to The Dutchess, but its not trying to be The Dutchess: It just is all over the place because that's who I am.'

Meanwhile, Fergie is currently on hiatus from her claim to fame, The Black Eyed Peas, whose members just published a book called Masters of the Sun.

The Fergalicious hitmaker confirmed she had not quit the band in a June 2 tweet: 'Everyone knows I will always love and support my @bep brothers, @iamwill, @tabbep, @apldeap!'

Fergie will next headline Brazil's Rock in Rio happening September 16 in Rio de Janeiro alongside Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, and The Who.
