Kim Kardashian says she 'loves' Taylor Swift in 2009 video



Last year Kim Kardashian infamously took to Snapchat to release a secretly recorded video between her husband Kanye West and Taylor Swift.

And on Wednesday, Entertainment Tonight unearthed the latest clip that the 38-year-old probably wishes stayed in the vault.

On the red carpet at a 2009 party, the reality star gushes about her now-nemesis Swift, even calling herself the singer's 'biggest fan.'



When asked about the number one song on her iPod at the time, Kim was quick to reply: 'Love Story by Taylor Swift'. 

'I love Taylor Swift', she continued, 'I am the biggest Taylor Swift fan.'

The event where Kim made the confession took place in March 2009, when Taylor was still known as a country artist and Kim was three years away from starting her relationship with Kanye West. 



In September of that year, West rushed the stage as Swift accepted an MTV Video Music Award for Best Female Video.

Kanye expressed his belief that Beyonce should have taken the prize as she had one of the 'best videos of all time' with her Single Ladies clip.  At the time, West was dating Amber Rose and did not start seeing Kardashian until 2012.

The move sparked a years-long war of words between Taylor and Kanye, but they finally made nice at the 2015 Grammy Awards, where they were seen chatting and taking photos that included Kanye's wife Kim.



Soon Kim and Taylor were best of friends, dancing together in the front row at awards shows, and Swift even presented West with his Video Vanguard Award at the 2015 VMA's, the same show that he had dissed her at six years earlier.

Things soured in February 2016, though, when Kanye released his song Famous, where he raps of Taylor: 'I made that b**** famous.'

Kanye insisted he got permission from Swift before using the lyric, but soon after it's release, she blasted the track as misogynistic.



Tired of seeing her husband dragged through the mud over the lyric, Kardashian released video of Kanye on the phone with Taylor telling her about the song, which Swift said was 'cool' of him to check with her before releasing.

Taylor appeared to sign off on the lyric in the footage, shared to Snapchat, to which Swift has implied is edited.

Now Taylor remains in a bitter feud with the Wests, seemingly aiming her loaded latest single Look What You Made Me Do at the couple.
