Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor predictions



With Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather set to battle it out in the early hours of Sunday morning, the anticipation continues to build.

Both men have forecast knocking each other out, with the Irishman promising to do so within four rounds of a fight which has divided opinion.

Sportsmail take a look at some of the predictions being made by stars from the world of sport and beyond.

‘It's probably going to be a landslide. Mayweather's made great fighters look average. Conor can't really compete. He's going into Mayweather's domain and even though he's an excellent fighter in UFC, he's not an excellent boxer. It’s going to be a really big challenge.’

‘There is tremendous build-up and hype but I don't really take it as a serious fight. No other boxers from 49 fights have figured out how to beat Mayweather - now a UFC fighter is trying to beat him at boxing. I think it's a farce.’

His chance will be in the first four rounds and I think that Conor can put Floyd away and land a punch. If it goes past the fourth round and gets into the fifth, sixth, seventh and it becomes a technical boxing match, I think it could look one sided and Floyd could win by TKO. Anything before that, though, is Conor's time'.
