Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor LIVE: Updates from Las Vegas



Round 7: Mayweather picks up where he left off in the sixth, picking apart McGregor with counter rights at will. Mayweather seems to be biding his time before going in for the kill.



Round 6: They clinch early on and McGregor lands a blow to the back of Mayweather's head. Mayweather responds by hunting down the Irishman and rattling him with several straight right hands.



McGregor looks out on his feet but is still throwing shots back at 40-year-old Mayweather, who is aggressively hunting the knockout.



5.33am: Chris McKenna at the T-Mobile Arena: Mayweather now starting to really get going as he works the body of McGregor and gets through with a good right on the counter. Still a very strange fight.



Mayweather is hunting down McGregor now and the Irishman is starting to fade. Will he have reserves to go the distance. It is still remarkable he hasn’t lost a point for all of the illegal shots



Round 5: McGregor started the round a lot slower than he began the previous stanzas, picking and choosing the shots to throw rather than throwing with wreckless abandon. Mayweather seems to be enjoying this, walking McGregor down with a wry smile on his face.



Mayweather landed a big left hand which wobbled the UFC's lightweight champion moments before the end of the round.



Round 4: Both men clinch early doors and trade blows on the breaks. Both men land big straight lefts, which draw oos from the crowd. McGregor looks like he's struggling to cope with the pace, breathing heavily through his mouth.

Round 3: Mayweather seems content to allow McGregor to push the pace and rush him into the corner. The American easily avoids The Notorious' attacks while returning fire with a few well-placed jabs of his own.



Round 2: Once again, McGregor comes out at a fast pace, backing up Mayweather in the corner. Mayweather easily avoids the Dubliner's onslaughts before upping the pace.



McGregor tries to clinch the American, but referee Robert Byrd quickly puts an end his attempt to hold on to the former five-weight world champion.



Round 1: McGregor comes out swinging early doors and backs up Mayweather. Mayweather was more happy to let McGregor dictate proceedings and slip the Irishman's shots.



Although he only landed a few clean shots, McGregor easily took that round.
