Oprah Winfrey and Idris Elba among famous faces at royal wedding
George and Amal Clooney and David and Victoria Beckham were among the global A-list celebrities bringing Hollywood glamour to the Royal Wedding today.
Some of the world's most famous faces have descended on Windsor Castle for the wedding service of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The service will see people from all walks of life join together to celebrate - including the Royal Family, community stalwarts from around the UK, Meghan's Hollywood co-stars and the couple's famous friends.
Filmstar Idris Elba, US TV host Oprah Winfrey and singer James Blunt were among the first people to arrive at St George's Chapel this morning.
Rugby star James Haskell and his girlfriend Chloe Madeley also joined the stream of famous faces walking into the church this morning.
Former England rugby union player and coach Sir Clive Woodward was also among the well-known guests.
Serena Williams has hinted that she will be a guest at the royal nuptials - posting a picture of herself in a towel 'getting ready for my friend's wedding'.
Meghan's Suits co-star Patrick J Adams is in the UK and has said that he was already getting emotional even before watching his friend 'take this monumental step'.
He tweeted: '70 years ago my grandparents, Patricia and Cedric Marsh were married in a small service in Windsor, England. Just found that out. Already getting misty... #royalwedding'.
The actor, who played Meghan's on-screen husband Mike Ross in the drama, posted a picture of Suits cast members seated around a table at a restaurant near to Windsor, where the bride-to-be will marry Prince Harry.
Two more Suits stars, Gabriel Macht, who plays Harvey Specter, and his wife Jacinda Barrett, who plays Zoey Lawford, have also been in the UK this week.
Local volunteers, community stalwarts and those who have made their cities, towns and villages a better place to live, also filed into the castle grounds with their hampers.
The group were nominated by the nine regional Lord Lieutenant offices after Harry and Meghan asked for those picked to come from a broad range of backgrounds and ages, including young people who have shown strong leadership.
They filed past the huge crowds who have flooded the streets of Windsor to watch the couple arrive and a carriage procession they will take part in after the wedding service.
Tom Moss, 23, was chosen to represent scouting in Staffordshire and brought his mother Vicki along.
He said he is a big fan of the couple, adding: 'I think Harry's down-to-earth, and all the charity work that he does as well.
'It makes a massive impact. A good role model for younger people as well.'
His mother said the outing is 'just absolutely amazing', adding: 'We just can't believe it, can we, that we've had this opportunity.'
She said it was a 'once in a lifetime' event.
Another young man having a day out with his mum is Jack Al-Alawi, 16, from Birmingham, who was chosen for being a volunteer police cadet.
'Now I'm here it's very exciting, much more special,' he said.
The teenager said he was looking forward to seeing the guests go in, especially the Queen.

With his gap-toothed grin and cheeky expression, it is clear that Prince George is growing up fast. Two pictures of the future king have been released by Kensington Palace to mark his seventh birthday today. Gone are his chubby cheeks and the frilled Peter Pan-collar shirts that his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, so loved to dress him in as a toddler and beyond. Instead we see a little boy, tousled blond hair swept aside and grinning, wearing a camouflage green T-shirt. An appropriate choice given he will one day inherit his great-grandmother’s mantle as Head of the Armed Forces. George is already said to be obsessed with helicopters like his father. In another picture he is wearing a favourite olive green polo shirt and shorts. The pictures were taken by his mother Kate at the family’s Norfolk home, Anmer Hall, where George and his siblings, Princess Charlotte, five, and two-year-old Prince Louis, have spent lockdown. Kate and Prince William are planning a party for ...
