Royal wedding Meghan Markle and Prince Harry official photos

PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle‘s official wedding photos have been released, and they reveal a lot about the couple and the Royal Family.

A black-and-white portait shows the pair are sitting on the steps of the East Terrace at Windsor Castle with beaming smiles as they pose for photographer Alexi Lubomirski in a more stripped back setting.

Body language and voice expert Doctor Louise Mahler said it was the most “relaxed and happy” she’d ever seen Prince Harry look.

“Harry’s forehead is completely smooth, and look how loose his jaw and mouth is, his teeth are separate,” Dr Mahler said. “50 per cent of our thinking goes to our jaw so when we’re stressed the jaw tenses, so this just says comfort and happiness.

“It’s the same with Meghan. She looks equally relaxed. They’re clearly breathing easily.

“I don’t think they’re laughing I think they’re just comfortable.”

Another photograph is a more formal one, showing the pair with Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla and Prince William and his wife Catherine. Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland is also in the photo, as well as their 10 pageboys and flowergirls.

Dr Mahler made a similar observation about how relaxed everyone looked, which is rare for an official royal portrait.

However she said Doria looked tense.

“The Queen even has a slight smile,” she said. “Her legs are back slightly, they’re not forward and stiff, she is 100 per cent with it and happy to be there.

“Their mouths are all released, the only one who’s isn’t is Doria’s and quite frankly who wouldn’t be stressed, she’s standing there thinking ‘what am I doing here?’

“Camilla and Charles look relaxed, Harry just looks like a young boy, he’s beaming.

“Kate and Will also look calm. Their heads, necks and jaws are relaxed.

“It’s the most beautiful royal wedding photo I’ve ever seen.”

The third photograph shows the newly-married pair in the Green Drawing Room at Windsor Castle, surrounded by their six flowergirls and four pageboys, including their nephew, Prince George 4, and niece Princess Charlotte, 3.

“Meghan is sitting between Harry’s legs, he just brings her into his body,” Dr Mahler said.

“Meghan’s elbows are off her body, that is incredibly meaningful because it means her breathing is freed and her ribs are freed.

“It’s a casual photo. The kids are all leaning in. There’s a lot of love.

“These pictures are just divine.”

A Kensington Palace spokesman said: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex would like to thank everyone who took part in the celebrations of their wedding on Saturday.

“They feel so lucky to have been able to share their day with all those gathered in Windsor and also all those who watched the wedding on television across the UK, Commonwealth, and around the world.”

Meanwhile, Meghan and Harry have been pictured for the first time since their wedding day.

The Sun reported that Harry was photographed driving the pair - given the title the Duke and Duchess of Sussex - into Kensington Palace in a blue Land Rover.

Both wearing sunglasses, the couple were seen smiling as they arrived back at their new Nottingham Cottage home within the palace grounds.

Bookies have begun taking extraordinary bets on that the Duchess is already pregnant.

Online gambling company Betfair, based in London, have set the odds at 3/1 for a baby being born in 2018, meaning many punters believe Meghan has a bun in the oven right now.

The odds have shortened dramatically since their wedding at the weekend, with the figure at 33/1 before their nuptials.

But the favourite year for their first child is still 2019, with the odds currently set at 4/11. From 2020 and after the odds are at 4/1.

At their ceremony on Saturday at St George’s Chapel, the Dean of Windsor described marriage as “the foundation of family life”, with Prince Harry leaning over to his bride and smiling at her.

Later in the service, American preacher Michael Curry said: “That’s a new Heaven, a new world, a new human family”.

At that moment the royal couple looked at each other as they smirked.
