Prince Harry superfan insists 'It's not too late to marry me'

A Prince Harry superfan who has repeatedly asked the royal to marry her has arrived in Windsor in a last-ditch bid to win the man she loves.

Victoria McRae, from Sydney, Australia, has followed the prince around the world in a bid to win his heart, even snatching a kiss from him at one meeting.

She arrived in Windsor today, a day before his wedding to Meghan Markle, with a sign reading: 'It's not too late.'

Miss McRae was even kitted out in a wedding dress and plastic crown to look the part.

She joined crowds waiting outside Windsor Castle ahead of the royal wedding procession tomorrow.

Speaking to This Morning presenter Alice Beer today, she said: 'I'll give him the chance on his wedding day - it's just a quiet reminder that if he gets cold feet I'm all ready to go, I'm in my gown, it's not too late.

'I may not be very popular, but I'm very happy for him that he's found his princess, which I think he has, but I'm always there if he needs me.

'I'm going to be in prime position, I want to be able to wave and show my sign and hope it gets his attention.'

Miss McRae has met the Prince before, and even rowed a kayak into Sydney Harbour in 2013 in a bid to meet him, but was stopped by police.

In 2015, she dressed in a sequined Australian flag mini dress and tiara as she asked him to marry her outside the Sydney Opera House. When he politely said he would have to get back to her, she asked for a kiss instead.

She then braved rain in Australia in a bid to meet him again last year, but is thought she only got a passing glimpse of him due to the wet weather.

Fans and well-wishers from around the world are descending on Windsor today to watch the procession after the royal wedding tomorrow.

Alex and Melissa Sirek from Eustis, Florida, were adorned in Union Jack flags and emblems. He wore a Union scarf around his neck.

Alex,49, said: 'It's wonderful to be here and we just heard that Prince Charles will be walking Meghan down the aisle which is a wonderful way to show that she's been accepted into the world family.'

Melissa, 50, added:' I guess that Megan's mother would've been part of the conversation about Prince Charles and it shows that everybody is getting along and it's going to be a unified family.  I'm a huge royalist, just so excited to be here. I can't wait for tomorrow.'

New Zealander Edwina Wilkie, who spent the night on the pavement outside the castle, said: 'My country is part of the Commonwealth and the royal family mean a lot to me.

'I was so excited about the engagement and I knew I had to be here if possible for the wedding. I was coming on holiday anyway to visit my niece who lives in Surrey Quays so the timing was just perfect.

'I'm so Looking forward to tomorrow and seeing Harry and Meghan.'

Police with automatic machine guns mingled win royal fans in the sunshine, but the atmosphere remained convivial.

Austrian economics student Gunter Nagel ,34, form Vienna, was also showing off the British flag in his bow tie. He said: 'It's a wonderful occasion. What a beautiful couple Harry and Meghan make.'

Police have decided the streets leading up to the wedding should be free for spectators to move freely and pavement dwellers were moved on earlier in the week.

Bit some re-emerged today and vowed to reclaim their spots opposite the Castle. One who gave his name as Steve said: ' I am from Windsor originally and this is my home town.

'I don't have a roof over my head so I have to stay somewhere. I don't mind the wedding and I'm sure Harry and Meghan being the kind people they are wouldn't want us shoved around like this either.

Police seized a 10-bed bus which is operated the The Ark Project charity from the town centre after it had offered beds and warm food to rough sleepers in the town.

It was claimed the bus was being operated without proper licensing and was impounded.
