Royal bride Meghan Markle opts for 'elegant chignon'

The first glimpse of the royal bride has revealed Meghan Markle has opted for a refined version of her signature updo on her wedding day. 

A peek through the window of the chauffeur driven car pulling away from Cliveden House on Saturday morning offered a glimpse of Meghan with swept back hair, a tiara, and a veil. 

It follows months of speculation over the look the bride would choose for her big day at Windsor Castle. 

It is already being hailed by experts as a must-have bridal hair style, with stylist Andrew Barton calling it an 'absolutely gorgeous' and 'elegant' option for a wedding.   

Hairdresser Andrew Barton said the updo had 'just the right amount of volume and body', and said she had wisely chosen a relaxed style rather than 'scraped off her face', which could look harsh, he said. 

He added that it was not too fussy, in keeping with the California girl's personal style.   

Yesterday a hairdresser who denied he was doing Meghan's bridal hair sent the rumour mill into overdrive once more after boarding a train to Windsor on the eve of her wedding.

Celebrity stylist Miguel Perez recently dismissed as 'fake news' reports that he would be responsible for styling the bride's tresses on the big day.

So his fans were baffled after Perez shared a short clip on Instagram of a train pulling into a station, writing: 'Windsor, here I come!'  

The £250-an-hour stylist also shared a picture of a recent bridal hairstyle he had created, captioning it: 'Wedding ideas'.

With her signature tousled bun and raven locks, the bride in the snap bore a striking resemblance to Ms. Markle. 

He also shared a picture of two bottles of £50 Hair Rituel by Sisley Reconstructing Conditioner, writing: 'Things I need to get the job done.'

It is possible that he is tending to the tresses of another VIP attendee; Millie Mackintosh who is a friend of Meghan's and rumoured to be on the guest list.

It came just hours before Meghan herself left Kensington Palace to spend her final night as a single woman at a luxury Windsor hotel. 

Insiders have been convinced that Perez, who has worked with the likes of Amal Clooney and Millie Mackintosh, is the Royal wedding stylist for weeks.  

But the Chelsea-based hair guru launched a furious tirade against 'fake' reports of his involvement in the wedding.
