But Demi Lovato opted for a more ostentatious look as she turned heads at Vanity Fair's post-Oscars party in Beverly Hills on Sunday.

The Cool For The Summer stunner looked somewhat akin to an enormous blancmange as she posed on the red carpet in her adventurously puffy dress.



The event is one of Hollywood's most dazzling bashes - with a coveted invite saved for the creme da la creme of the showbusiness world.

But Demi, 24, still somehow ended up in attendance, and capitalised to the full in a show-stopping purple gown which boasted a bust-boosting bustier and long ruffled train.



She managed to hold her own against a host of big names at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.

Indeed her look ensured she stood out from the crowd who opted to flaunt their heaving busts in more revealing outfits, such as Jennifer Aniston, Emily Ratajkowski, Kate Hudson and Kate Upton



The annual awards ceremony hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences claims to recognise excellence in cinematic achievements in the film industry, as assessed by the Academy's voting membership.

Romantic showbiz musical La La Land topped the Oscars nominations list with a whopping 14 nods.

The number tied the record set by Titanic and All About Eve, but it came nowhere near the record 11 Oscars won by Ben-Hur, Titanic and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
