She just recently spoke about women embracing their bodies after giving birth.

And Teresa Palmer certainly did just that at the Oscars in Los Angeles on Sunday, stunning on the red carpet in a slinky metallic gown.

The 31-year-old, who only gave birth to her second son Forest Sage just two months ago, went for old Hollywood glamour, with her gown having a distinct vintage feel.



The thin-strapped ensemble featured a silver embellished bodice and a dove-grey skirt with more embroidery down the train.

The blonde beauty's slender waist was accentuated with an art-deco style belt and she accessorised with a silver clutch bag and extravagant jewels, including diamond leaf drop earring and a couple of diamond rings.

Wearing her golden locks in a half-up half down style, the Hacksaw Ridge star opted for a traditional smokey eye and nude lip for her makeup.



Last week Teresa took to her Your Zen Mama blog to encourage other women to embrace their mum bodies after giving birth.

The mother of two says women should celebrate their, 'sagging breasts, mum bums, cellulite, muffin tops, wobbly arms, thick thighs' not 'punish themselves' for them.

'Isn't it funny how easily we can forget to take a moment to celebrate our bodies!?' the Aussie actress began.



'We spend far too much time punishing ourselves over what we see as our sagging breasts, mum bums, cellulite, muffin tops, wobbly arms, thick thighs,' she adds.

'In fact, take a moment right now to give your body thanks for creating life and nurturing that life,' the blonde encouraged.

The 30-year-old also described recently getting back into her work out routine after the birth of her ten week old son, Forest Sage.

'Next week after the Oscars weekend I'm going to go to the gym! I just joined a new gym which has a child care,' the Lights Out star told her readers.



Forest is now old enough to go for an hour at a time so my plan is to do a class there about 3 times a week,' she writes.

Teresa also detailed 'moving her body' five times a week which also includes a yoga class and a hike.

She told Kyle and Jackie O last year that she 'really packed it on' during her second pregnancy but wasn't worried as she planned to have six kids.



'Six is my number!' she said enthusiastically. 'It truly is. My husband is down (with it). He's like, 'Why not?''

Teresa is married to Mark Webber and they have a two sons, three-year-old son Bodhi Rain and newborn son Forest Sage.
