Emma Stone lets her hair down at Vanity Fair bash/ OSCARS 2017
NEWS: goo.gl/a3kAcQ
She had earlier dazzled in a beaded golden Givenchy dress while accepting the Best Actress Oscar for her role in La la Land.
But Emma Stone swapped the elaborate gown for something more comfortable as she stepped out at the Vanity Fair party dressed in a black blazer adorned with white spots.
Sporting a white satin mini dress teamed with black strappy heels, the star also wore her red hair in an updo after appearing in loose tousled curls at the Dolby Theatre ceremony.
She also pinned a blue ACLU ribbon to her blazer - joining the likes of Ruth Negga and Karlie Kloss who also fixed them to their gowns.
The ribbons serve as a symbol of solidarity for the American Civil Liberties Union.
Emma looked in good spirits after her big win, having earlier accepted the Best Actress Oscar in a tearful acceptance speech.
The star was overcome with emotion after beating out fellow nominees Meryl Streep, Ruth Negga, Natalie Portman, and Isabelle Huppert for the gong.
The actress began her acceptance speech by praising her fellow nominees and thanking her family.
She went on: 'I realise a moment like this is a huge confluence of luck and opportunity and so I want to thank Damien Chazelle for the opportunity to be part of a project that was so special and once in a lifetime.'
'I'm so grateful to have been involved in this film and thank you for your faith and your patience and such a wonderful experience, and Ryan Gosling, thank you for making me laugh and for always raising the bar and for being the greatest partner on this crazy adventure. '
Emma concluded: 'I still have a lot of growing and learning and work to do and this guy is a really beautiful symbol to continue on that journey. And I'm so grateful for that.'
La La Land also won the awards for cinematography, directing, original score, original song, and production design.
Ryan seemed thrilled at Emma's win, giving her a warm hug before she ascended the stairs to accept the gong.
At a post-awards show press conference, the star seemed bemused at the confusion at the end of the awards show where La La Land was announced as Best Film by Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway after the presenters were mistakenly handed a backup envelope for the Best Actress award.
'I was also holding my Best Actress in a leading role card that entire time,' she said. 'So whatever story - I don’t mean to start stuff - but whatever story that was, I had the card. So, I’m not sure what happened. And I really wanted to talk to you guys first.'
However, the star said she was thrilled at the success of the low budget coming-of-age film which explores the trials of an African-American gay man growing up in poverty in Miami.
'I f***ing loved Moonlight,' Emma said. 'God, I love Moonlight so much! I'm so excited for Moonlight! And of course, it was an amazing thing to hear La La Land. I think we all would have loved to win Best Picture.
'But we are so excited for Moonlight. I think it's one of the best films of all time. So I was pretty beside myself.'
This year's Oscars saw La La Land nominated for 14 Oscars but only scoop six gongs with it disastrously being erroneously named as Best Picture winner when presenter Warren Beatty was handed the wrong envelope.
However La La Land's Damien Chazelle won the Oscar for directing, while the film's song City Of Stars was the winner of Original Song.
The film lost out on eight other nominations - Best Actor for Ryan Gosling, costume design, film editing, original song (it was nominated twice in this category), sound editing, sound mixing, original screenplay, and Best Picture.
Ryan had been nominated for best actor but lost out to Casey Affleck who won for Manchester By The Sea.
Mahershala Ali won the first award of the night - best supporting actor for Moonlight, that went on to win Best Picture.
The 43-year-old had gained critical acclaim for his role as a drug dealer named Juan, in the drama and he beat out nominees Jeff Bridges, Lucas Hedges, Dev Patel, and Michael Shannon.
And Viola Davis rounded off the big winners with her Best Supporting Actress gong for Fences, wowing the Dolby Theatre crowd with her acceptance speech.
'I became an artist and thank God I did,,' she told the star-studded crowd. 'Because we are the only profession that celebrates what it means to live a life.'
In a heart-stopping moment the stars and producers of La La Land rushed to the stage to give enthusiastic thank you speeches, before the mistake was revealed and they were forced to hand their trophies to the stars of Moonlight
The terrible end to an otherwise triumphant show left the audience gasping in horror, stunned by the mishap - which appeared to have been caused by Beatty opening the wrong envelope.

With his gap-toothed grin and cheeky expression, it is clear that Prince George is growing up fast. Two pictures of the future king have been released by Kensington Palace to mark his seventh birthday today. Gone are his chubby cheeks and the frilled Peter Pan-collar shirts that his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, so loved to dress him in as a toddler and beyond. Instead we see a little boy, tousled blond hair swept aside and grinning, wearing a camouflage green T-shirt. An appropriate choice given he will one day inherit his great-grandmother’s mantle as Head of the Armed Forces. George is already said to be obsessed with helicopters like his father. In another picture he is wearing a favourite olive green polo shirt and shorts. The pictures were taken by his mother Kate at the family’s Norfolk home, Anmer Hall, where George and his siblings, Princess Charlotte, five, and two-year-old Prince Louis, have spent lockdown. Kate and Prince William are planning a party for ...
