Matt Damon and wife Luciana Barroso certainly were contenders for most beautiful couple on the Oscars red carpet Sunday night in Hollywood.

The A-lister, 46, who is a producer of best picture nominee Manchester By The Sea, was perfect in a three-piece navy tuxedo with white dress shirt and black bow tie.

His stunning spouse of 12 years looked sensational in quicksilver satin with a very revealing bodice.



Luciana's gown featured a plunging neckline and a cut-out bodice with thin straps.

Her skirt was tucked at the front into a silver waistband and fell in folds to the floor with a small train pooling around her feet.



The brunette beauty added matching silver sandal heels and shiny clutch.

The Martian star joked with Michael Strahan on the official ABC red carpet show that he was ready to get a roasting during the telecast from host Jimmy Kimmel.

The two have been locked in a highly-publicized feud for the past 11 years as Kimmel tries to prevent Damon from appearing on his late night talk show while Damon seeks ways to sabotage Jimmy Kimmel Live!

And a short time before the Academy Awards kicked off, Kimmel shared a photo form his dressing room showing him watching Damon being interviewed on the red carpet.

Kimmel captioned the snap posted to Instagram: 'Dead man walking the red carpet. #Oscars.'
